Overall Satisfaction with Procore

I&E is a GC who uses Procore mostly as Document Control. We use it to convey plans to the crews in the field. Field
staff fills out daily logs to keep track of past work and keep the office informed of project performance. We also keep track of purchase orders and Subcontracts in Procore. Creating subcontracts and POs in Procore is faster and more effective the AIA or Excel versions we used before. It also helps keep track of where subcontracts are in the execution process. Also we use it as a means of keeping track of who is on-site when and where are they working. This helps in verifying schedules and protecting ourselves in case injuries occur on site.
  • Keep track of plans
  • Compile repots on day to day operationso n site
  • Creation and Tracking of Subcontracts and POs
  • Scheduling (let us mark days as complete or on track in the daily log).
  • Equipment usage and tracking (dose not work for Civil Contractors).
  • More crossover from Daily log to other programs like inspections or scheduling.
  • Increased efficiency on Project admin side.
  • Lost efficiency on Punchlist.
  • Increased efficiency in closeouts.
Viewpoint - Revit. This gives project managers a quicker glance at how the project is going. We can import budgets and costs from Viewpoint so PMs can see in real time how their projects is doing from a money perspective. Sadly this only works in Dollars and not quantities or hours so it does not give a complete productivity summary.
Speed is not really a factor for us. Before Procore we did not keep good accurate daily logs. Now we do. We keep track of inspections, deliveries, visitors, safety violations, manpower, quantities, and equipment usage daily. This tracking is delegated to the Assistant Superintendent and Foreman on site with a review done at the end of the day by the Superintendent.

Do you think Procore delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Procore's feature set?

Yes

Did Procore live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Procore go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Procore again?

Yes

Procore is very well suited for compiling backup/ proving work was done. In our rehab department we take pictures of everything we do and Procore does an amazing job at compiling them with our notes so later down the road we have proof of our work. We use this not only to cover ourselves but also the owners of our projects.
