Overall Satisfaction with Procore

We use Procore as a central storage vault for project documents for all documents produced or used after the project award. We house drawings and specs, Subcontracts and their components parts, Change Order (all change management), RFI's, all correspondence with Owners and Subs. We do not use it for workflow tasks. Procore allows us a central repository of all project documents that can be accessed in the office or in the field and on the mobile app, so none of the team has to wait to get to a computer to access the information they need. Any changes that are made are real-time to all users so there are no "version" issues.
  • Stores Files.
  • Real time updates/changes.
  • Accessible on mobile devises.
  • Intuitive navigation.
  • Set your own file structure.
  • So far I have not experienced anything that requires improvement.
  • If someone adds you to a job directory in error, (or your assignment changes) it is tricky to get removed.
  • I wish the landing page was customizable.
  • Field personnel has had access "on the fly" saving time and fuel coming into the office.
  • We have saved server space.
  • We no longer have mix-ups due to different versions of a document floating around and not getting to the right people timely.
We have not integrated other software with Procore yet but IT is looking into it! I imagine any integration would be a big plus because we currently have about 10 software systems running side by side and paring that down would avoid duplication and error, not to mention easier to train new staff members!
I do not use daily logs but I have heard from friends in the field that it is a huge change from having to make notes on paper then come into the office to either turn it into someone who transcribes it for them or have to formalize their notes and enter it into a software that does not have a mobile app.

Do you think Procore delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Procore's feature set?

Yes

Did Procore live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Procore go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Procore again?

Yes

Procore is well suited as a repository for documents that need to be accessed by people both in the office and in the field. Folders can be "locked" so only certain people have access to those. This is great for financials or badging/background check information. I know that there is a job cost management module but have not used so I can't speak to the efficacy of that. I think Procore would be less cost effective for a very small organization where all users could pull from a server and field personnel are accustomed to using paper still.
