Overall Satisfaction with Progress Telerik

We have different web applications that use grids, forms , and schedulers. Using Progress Telerik components, we simply used grids with templated, and a very good looking scheduler with many useful features. Communication of component with the backend using data source features are simple. In addition to these components we used cards and graphs as well.

Pros

  • Scheduler with the capability of changing time zone
  • Using grids with templates
  • Using a large number of smaller controls including dropdown lists

Cons

  • I have not worked with the App Builder but I think a GUI for dragging and dropping components to build a web page would be great.
  • In addition to the app builder there should some tools to design a responsive web application to see the results for different screen sizes.
  • The development time went shorter
  • Good looking web application that attracts users
I have used Progress Telerik components for jQuery, Angular, and Blazor. I have tried the other software that provide similar components and I found Telerik ahead of the other competitors.
  • Syncfusion® Essential Studio®
Progress Telerik provides mor API options for each component. Also, the documentation is easier to read and search.

Yes

Are you happy with Progress Telerik's feature set?

Yes

Did Progress Telerik live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Progress Telerik go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Progress Telerik again?

Yes

My company started using Progress Telerik after I used the trial version and later recommended it to the other developers and finally the company used it as an official tool for web development. In the application that we started using Telerik, we needed to have a scheduler and the Scheduler component did great. The only problem I has is the documentation on the website. I had to bookmark some pages to find them easily.
