Overall Satisfaction with Prophix
We use it for annual budgeting process. We mainly were looking for a new product to make it easier for end users to go through the planning process. We wanted a robust simple to use tool and we felt like Prophix was a great fit.
We also use it for monthly financial reports to management. Monthly reporting to the board.
We have now started to look into the new functionality of Predictive Forecasting. It is still in early stages but it has great potential.
Prophix also gave us the ability to analyze data much quicker. Ad hoc functionality is a great tool for slicing and dicing data.

It has provided a tremendous help if it comes to the transition away from excel. Excel process was a long inefficient way and prone to errors. Prophix has helped us increase the end user satisfaction to where we constantly hear how easy to use and robust it is.
At the same time it provided the ability for finance to put together results of submitted data at a faster rate. We can analyze and make changes on a fly, where with excel it took hours if not days to complete the same task.

- Board and Workday Adaptive Planning
We compared Prophix with Board and Adaptive Planning. Prophix seemed to be much more user friendly when compared to Board. It was just a more robust product.
It did stack very well with Workday Adaptive Planning, but what set them apart was that Prophix has a great relationship and integration processes with the financial tool we used in Sage X3.
