QlikView Review: "Very useful, but overly complicated at times."https://www.trustradius.com/business-intelligenceQlikViewUnspecified7.75341012017-09-15T15:48:54.359Z
Overall Satisfaction with QlikView
Qlik is used by certain departments. Some other departments use different data visualization tools. It offers a way to build visualization tools that meet our client's needs. It is flexible enough that templates can be developed that will suit the needs for multiple clients. It also makes self service a little bit easier.
- Allows self service, freeing up analyst time resources for large fish.
- Flexible enough to be used in multiple business problem types.
- Can point to multiple data sources, making blending a little easier.
- Colors and graphics look dated
- Some of the functionality is clunky, making what should be easy changes more complicated than they should be.
Very good at connecting a wide array of source data. Anything from existing spreadsheets to a SQL server, Qlikview allows connections to all.
We have the ability to share dashboards with clients pretty easily. Formatting is a bit dated, and as mentioned earlier can be a little more complicated. For example, some charts require you to go into the settings to change headers, when this should be an easy double click on the object.
