Overall Satisfaction with Quick Base
Quick Base at ELC has a few hundred users and we all use it in different capacities around the globe. I work with various teams to understand their requirements and then the best way to build their Quick Base app while training them on the program. One example of a problem a brand was facing was they were deploying digital devices to multiple points of sale globally but was not able to track where and when. We built a database for them to track the deployments of the devices as well as the future update status of software deployment. I love how customizable the program is and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to save time on their projects!
Pros
- Customizing reports is super simple.
- Beautiful dashboards that are customizable per user
- Sharing information capabilities
Cons
- Took me personally a while to understand the relationship keys and text proxy but after I understood it, it is a piece of cake!
- Not able to search all the contents of an entire app with multiple criteria, similar to a Google search.
Quick Base is 1000 times more intuitive and does a lot of the work for you. Microsoft Access is very much for users that actually do know how to code-if you ask me.
