Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

QuickBase has revolutionized how our company handles many operations. We use it across the entire company, as well as departmentally. The ability to access database(s) from anywhere makes it invaluable. We use it for everything from tracking individual customer accounts, to processing service invoices.
  • The flexibility to make applications that fit the needs.
  • Being able to access it anywhere you have an internet connection on any device.
  • Ease of use, especially when new users are involved.
  • The ability to create/share custom skins.
  • Cheaper pricing (My biggest complaint).
  • Better calendar manipulation (For example, you cannot have recurring dates natively in QuickBase).
We started out using QuickBase for our job management and it has grown exponentially. We use it for:

Asset Tracking
Account Management
Sales Quotes, Sales Orders, and Invoicing
Job Management
Employee Management (including tracking Time Management)
Interoffice tasks
(Too much to list)
QuickBase is the first (and only) application we have used that fits into this category.
Building basic applications can be done by anyone that has a basic grasp on the concepts. Advanced applications that use a lot of formulas, etc., will be harder for someone that cannot understand it.
  • Building and deploying business applications faster
  • Improving our ability to drive insights from our data
  • Improving collaboration across one or more teams
  • Solving a specific business challenge
  • Building and deploying an application (or multiple applications) that meets our exact needs
From an advanced perspective, working on/upgrading my own applications is far easier than reverse engineering others apps. People can accomplish the same task in designing applications in very different methods.
Any time you have a database needs, this is an ideal solution.

I cannot think of any scenarios where a company could not benefit from QuickBase.
