Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

It is used across our entire organization. It is essentially our central database for all of our company information for use by clients and ourselves. Process wise, it is first used in our sales department where clients/leads/candidates are loaded into the system with the customer’s information. That customer information is then used by our negotiations department to work with creditors on. From there our customer service department provides retention and changes any information that may need to be adjusted.
  • Centralized database of information.
  • Ability to customize, make API calls, and integrate with third party applications.
  • Great support when opening a ticket, fast and accurate fixes.
  • Single-threaded processes. Creates a lot of overhead in our company since we sync our Quickbase tables with our own applications tables and makes it very slow for some users.
  • Pricing.
  • Application sluggishness.
We solely use our custom built applications within Quickbase.
Sorry, I was not a part of the decision to use Quickbase.
All depends on the complexity of the application. I think citizen developers would have no issue creating more simple applications. However if the application is making API calls, syncing with SQL databases, pulling and pushing files to different network locations I think it would be much more difficult.
  • Building and deploying business applications faster
  • Improving our ability to drive insights from our data
  • Improving collaboration across one or more teams
  • Solving a specific business challenge
  • Building and deploying an application (or multiple applications) that meets our exact needs
We have never experienced any issues updating a Quickbase-developed application.
Quickbase is well suited for situations that rely on a lot of data access. For our customers, we usually have pages and pages of data that we need to utilize on a phone call which allows us to quickly provide [assistance]. The only issue we have is speed.
