Use Cases and Deployment Scope

My department uses quickbase to track requested time off and vacation time, projects that each staff member has completed, started, or plans to start in the future, and to catalog and score information submitted through our database by tutors that work for our company. Quickbase helps us stay on track and updated on the workflow of our fellow coworkers.

Pros and Cons

Pros

I love how easy it is to export a quickbase table into an Excel sheet
Very easy to create templates
Great way to organize information and then create a report of progress

Cons

Within a table that has been created, I think it would be great if there was a feature to select certain columns and export just those columns to an Excel sheet

Alternatives Considered

Quickbase is the first product that we have tried using, and so far it's been perfect. We haven't looked for alternatives, nor do we intend to.

Likelihood to Recommend

My company allows tutors to submit practice tests that we then publish onto our website for tutors/students to use as extra practice in subjects that they need extra help with. We use quickbase as a way to log these sets and evaluate the quality of the set. This way, we know what tutors are submitting the best work, how much of what subject we are getting, etc. This has been a great way for us to reach out to the tutors we want to see more content from or get rid of the tutors that continually submit below average work.
