Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

The group I am in use it primarily for scheduling work assignments in our group and we also use it in conjunction with our clients for a variety of project management tasks.
  • It has a simple, clean user interface
  • It can be accessed anywhere at anytime
  • It provides a lot of customization options to fit your business needs
  • The user guides could be easier to read and understand
  • Sometimes it takes a lot of trial and error testing to get certain functions to work as you want
We do not create or deploy our own applications through QuickBase. When we purchased QuickBase, a large portion of our group did not receive adequate training to be able to utilize QuickBase the way it was intended to be used.
It has been difficult to use QuickBase over the years because it is not supported by our IT department therefore we do not have proper support internally. Our specific group within the organization has built it to function by trial and error. QuickBase cannot be "self-taught" unless you are already an engineer.

We use QuickBase to schedule work with our employees. QuickBase has some great reporting features that can show daily, weekly, monthly and yearly tasks which are great for forecasting. Setting up these reports though does take some work. If you modify one report, it can cause other reports to not function properly.
