Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions

We used QuickBooks' Enterprise Solutions as our main accounting platform. It was used for paying bills, entering AR, reconciling bank statements, etc. We used it to produce month end and year end financial statements as well as other Ad-Hoc reports that were needed. The product was not used in other departments across the organization.

  • Producing basic financial statements and reports needed to reconcile accounts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • AR module. Depending how you entered your AR (JE's vs Bills) applying payments can sometimes be difficult
  • Advanced Reporting
  • Accuracy of Financial Statements
  • Timing of Data Entry
  • Increase Efficiency
  • Better Customer Service
I have used some more advanced accounting systems and while they may have some additional reporting features that QuickBooks doesn't have, there is no system out there that is more user friendly and easier to use than QuickBooks' enterprise solutions. If you are a small to mid-sized company looking for an accounting software, I would highly recommend QuickBooks.
Assuming I have the opportunity to work for a company that would be able to use QuickBooks, I will jump at the opportunity to use the platform again. Currently, the company I work for us using a different system just based on the level of transactions and QuickBooks not being able to have an import feature.
QuickBooks is is perfect for simple to moderate sized companies. On occasion, companies with advanced reporting needs or consolidated reporting needs may find QuickBooks to not work well for them. The lack of an import feature makes advanced companies with high amounts of transactions limited in what they can use the product for.
