Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions

We use QuickBooks to help our clients record and process transactions, and report and analyze their financial information. The product provides in-depth financial information that helps us advise our clients on what is going well, what isn't and what needs to change. We use the product only in our outsourced accounting department at the current time.
  • The reporting capability of QuickBooks allows us to design and customize reports that give our clients the information they need.
  • Reports are easily exported to Excel for additional analysis as needed.
  • Drilling down on line items is easy.
  • The biggest we have is that we have to wait for our client to send us an accountant's copy of the QuickBooks file before we can start work on it.
  • Real-time, always available, and up-to-date information would be a huge improvement.
  • Beginner's at the product struggle at times with the product and need training.
  • It allows us to work with more clients because everyone gravitates towards Quickbooks.
  • Our staff is more efficient using a standard platform.
It is just as robust and probably an easier platform to use and understand. Reporting capabilities are superior.
The accounting functionality is very good, however, the one downfall is having to pass the file back and forth with the client. Real-time information would be a huge plus.
It is important for someone to assess whether they will be working with an accountant frequently and how quickly they need information. If time is of the essence, I would recommend looking into a cloud based solution.
