Overall Satisfaction with Read&Write

My institution has a sitewide license and my department, accessibility resources, using Read&Write for testing accommodations as well as over all text-to-speech access. It is suggested in our academic success coaching program for students who would like to interact with their content in multiple formats and increase engagement.

Pros

  • Easy to access via chrome extention
  • Easy to upoad documents to edit
  • intutive toolbar

Cons

  • Easier to inititate text-to-speech
  • clearer speech
  • improved learning experience
  • increased accessiblity
for work, it has been something I recommend to a lot of my students for both the text-to-speech and the highlighting features. Personally, when I was taking classes I used it a lot to skim through articles and take notes.
it has made significant impacts for my students as it saves them a lot of time in note-taking and allows them to have multimodal access to content
