Overall Satisfaction with ReadyAPI
I have worked on different API automations like Ready API, Rest Assured, Katalon Studio, Karate etc. And after evaluating different tools we found that ReadyAPI is far superior to other API automation tools. It supports testing for Rest, SOAP, GraphQL, etc. It is a Scriptless API testing tool. Data-driven testing and Security testing are important features of this tool. It also has a feature to measure test coverage. So far Ready API is one of the best API automation tool I have come across in recent times.

- Limited options available to generate data using Data source
- As it is Scriptless tool, it saves lots of time in writing the test cases
- It has a very positive impact on Return on Investment
- Easy to integrate with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git etc
- Licensing cost is a bit on higher side which impacts the project budget
Katalon Studio doesn't have powerful features like Data-driven testing with different sources such as Excel, GRID, Groovy, etc. Parallel testing is not available. Import API definitions which are one of the important of ReadyAPI are also not there in Katalon Studio. Reporting dashboard in ReadyAPI is also much better than Katalon Studio. Overall ReadyAPI is so far the best API testing tool compared to other competitors available in the market
