Red Hat OpenShift review
Overall Satisfaction with Red Hat OpenShift
the infrastructure can grow with the organization easily, easy deploying, resilience, modern workflow and the limits are where you put it. The integration with what we already have. Another good point to say is that we have several cluster on different ways, on cloud and on premises, on different clouds, even UPI and IPI.
Pros
- Quick deployment of environments
- Resiliency
- excellent growing capabilities
Cons
- Specifically on Virtualization, tray to do things more like legacy virtualization platform.
- Not every application is on container today so tray to bring more integrations with Red Hat OpenShift virtualization
- Easily Storage migration for people with traditional storage
- Positive impact on growing applications
- Great results vs investments
- Decreased Downtime
Mostly on Red Hat OpenShift for containers we have great improvement, the other tools we are doing baby steps yet
great integration between environments, is the same code, just on different situations
we just got into Red Hat OpenShift and never got back
