We use this program to help students to assess their reading and show growth. We use it as progress monitoring and it is used multiple times a year. They typically take the test in both reading and math for the year.

Usability

Very student-friendly test. The results are easy to communicate with the students and the information is presented in a way that makes it easy to identify. The students know what to expect from the test so there are no surprises. The ability to have the test read to the students also allows them to focus on the test, not just the words

Alternatives Considered

These tests give much more accessible information than others similar. I only wish that I could access individual test questions in order to review some concepts with students and help them to prepare to the best of their abilities.

This makes the steps simpler for others to get to and the students know exactly what to expect. The tests cater to the students by getting easier/harder based on how they are doing.
