Overall Satisfaction with RingCentral Meetings

We migrated to RingCentral 11 months ago. The phone system part is great. When we first started using RingCentral they used a white label version of Zoom. We use Zoom so this gave us more licenses. That said RingCentral has migrated to RingCentral Meetings and none of our team, including myself think it is very good. Zoom is much better. In our opinion.
  • Video conference.
  • Integrates with RingCentral.
  • Similar features to Zoom.
  • Missing many Zoom features.
  • Quality of sound and audio is an issue compared to Zoom.
  • Our clients prefer Zoom and often express concern when they get a RingCentral invite.
  • It is part of a package so more or less free.
  • We prefer Zoom.
  • It is very reasonable.
We use Zoom the most. We also use Microsoft Team and Google products. I think by and large all of the other services are currently better than RingCentral Meetings. Perhaps in time since RingCentral is a good company they will have more features. Zoom support is awesome. In general RingCentral support is very poor.

If you don't have access to Zoom it is better than nothing. It just needs more features. That said I think Zoom is like a verb and we have clients who just don't want to accept a RingCentral calendar invite. Our users prefer Zoom since it is so widely used.

RingCentral Meetings Support

By and large any time we have to deal with RingCentral for support it is a bad experience. Fortunately we work with a reseller who can assist us and has a special support number when needed. Their front line support staff is poorly trained and seems to be best at transferring you to another person who can not really assist after a long wait. They should really follow Apple or Zoom and set up a great call center with trained professionals.

Using RingCentral Meetings

We prefer Zoom over RingCentral. Some is personal opinion. Some is based on wider use and acceptance of Zoom. Zoom has great customer support. In general the support by RingCentral is poor. Zoom has way more features and our users and clients prefer Zoom. There are some quality issues with RingCentral Meetings that need to be addressed as well.
