  • It possesses a recording feature that helps in focusing on details discussed in meetings after the meeting ends.
  • There must be a video preview before the initiation of a meeting.
  • The interface should be made easy and more friendly..

  • We have seen a positive ROI each month due to the time savings and ability to manage without IT.
  • RingCentral Meetings has allowed us to use a single technology for our audio and video needs at the same price we used to pay for just audio calling.

  • Reduced time spent managing technical support issues (instead of customers describing problems, they can screen-share to help with the diagnosing process)
  • Whiteboarding has been exceptionally helpful to sketch new concepts and save them for future reference
  • Lack of capability to remote-control smart phones has limited it's screen sharing functionality for us, requiring the need for another software subscription to utilize that function.

  • It has had a positive impact. We replaced an archaic solution with a more modern, streamlined version or product. Like anything else, it has its downfalls and isn't perfect, but overall it's been a good product and has outshined its predecessors like Zoom and Skype.
  • It also has an integrated office phone feature which has been great as our phones are essentially our laptops. It cut down on those costs and in general freed up space on our desks since we didn't have to have them anymore and everything is on our computer now.

  • Has appreciably reduced on-site service calls and dramatically sped up the resolution of those tickets we are able to close remotely.
  • Has positively impacted our remote staff and consultants who feel much more connected to the organization and those they work with.
  • Has shortened our sales cycle by allowing us to do follow-up fact-finding without an additional site visit.
  • Has increased our visibility with clients through better communication and our use of leading-edge technologies.

  • The big benefit for us is that, because RingCentral Meetings is included as part of our RingCentral account, we don't have to pay another vendor on top of our existing fees to get support for a consistent, company-wide web conferencing system.
  • In some cases, we've found that our clients prefer using our Meetings platform to their own in-house systems, which are usually things like Skype, WebEx, etc.
  • On the flip side, RingCentral until recently hasn't had great support for room-to-room solutions, and so we ended up implementing LifeSize for that - so internally we still have to semi-competing platforms in play. Their room solution relies on 3rd party hardware and peripherals, and so is time consuming to get set up and working easily.

  • Since it came free with our phone service, it has saved us from purchasing anything else, so the ROI was certainly there
  • It was easy to deploy with a group policy rule to all computers, so it took minimal IT time
  • Since we already had VoIP accounts for all of our users, there was no other account to create.
