Overall Satisfaction with RUN Powered by ADP®

We are a small business. We focus on real estate and I use it for payroll services. It makes it easy for me to run payroll monthly. Employees like it because they can receive direct deposits instead of handwritten checks each month. And, it calculates the payroll taxes for the company.

Pros

Cons

  • Difficult to set up account.
  • It doesn't let us pick a day for recurring payroll. I only lets you pick a recurring date.
  • It would be easier if the GL file would be created automatically.
  • Hard to set up the first time.
  • Wish there would be a go to person who would understand my company.
  • Direct deposit has made employees happy.
My employees do not use RUN Powered by ADP's Employee Access portal. They have not set it up online. It would be irrelevant to some of my employees because they do not have email accounts. Therefore, I see no benefit for my organization. It may be beneficial for other types of organizations.
I downloaded the mobile app when I started to use RUN Powered by ADP® at the beginning of the year. It is helpful when I have been traveling. I have been able to use it to run payroll while I am away from my office. Overall, it is easy to use the app.
The price was competitive so that is why my company picked RUN Powered by ADP. I also liked that the app was easy to use. Unlike other companies, it allows some employees to receive direct deposit and others to receive a check. This was important to my employees. And it also does the W-2 filings.

It is great for companies that need to run payroll, but do not want to calculate the taxes and then have to go pay them on their own. It is also easy to set up direct deposit, which employees like especially if they work remotely. I have not used it for HR services.
