Overall Satisfaction with RUN Powered by ADP®

Employee Handbook Wizard - super easy to use and it allows you to add laws that effect different states. Can even add your logo and make the employees sign off on it.
I have called in for help with terminations and hirings
Employee new hire paperwork - also customized by the state they live in.
I am an office manager and have multiple responsibilities. I find ADP HR invaluable to help me migrate the changing tax field. I just don't have the time to figure everything out on my own, I would probably miss things. But the reminders I get, access to support as well as all the information I am able to pull up on the ADP website, I feel like I can keep up.

Pros

  • Awesome reports that are easy to understand and follow

Cons

  • Information I updated on the front end did not get updated on the back end. Apparently there are two different data bases.
  • The 401K options were hard to figure out on my own and I had to have ADP set them up.
  • We used to have Paycor and ADP is much easier to use.
  • The payroll reports are the best I have ever seen (I have been doing payroll for 20 years)
  • The time it would have taken me to do an employee manual and get it to look like this would have been very cost prohibitive.
It saves me, as the administrator, time because I don't have to look everything up. The employees feel more comfortable looking stuff up themselves instead of having to go to me with every little question. I have also pulled off posters for the breakroom and other items of interest that are legally required to be displayed.
ADP figures out the taxes, taxes the taxes, and files the returns and pays the taxes. The payroll interface is much easier than Paycor. As an administrator, I haven't used the mobile app, but they have guides that I have handed out to the employees to help them get the app and use it. When payroll is done, it always notifies me if someone didn't get paid, or if they have used up all their PTO or if their timecard has a missed punch and so forth. I appreciate that feature!
I feel I spend much less time doing payroll, finding stuff and getting the information I need from reports. Their reports are so much better than Paycor's reports. Also, they didn't have an HR feature which I have found invaluable for answering questions and for creating a comprehensive employee handbook.

I love the automatic reports I get each payroll that include all the reports that I would have to run individually if they didn't have a combination option. The employee handbook automatically includes all the states we have employees in and lets me know if they have acknowledged it. I have my work comp running through ADP which makes it super easy and one less payment to make or keep track of. The HR feature allows me to get my questions answered easily without doing Google research that may be wrong or trying to understand the federal/state websites.
