Overall Satisfaction with RUN Powered by ADP®

I started the employee handbook wizard and was very excited about it - until they asked for payment. It felt sneaky as it appeared a benefit to RUN users. It was a bit disappointing to waste time only to hide my handbook behind a paywall essentially.
RUN Powered by ADP® is used to process payroll and track PTO. PTO tracking was one of the best problem solving solutions. It also adds the information to the employees paystub which provides transparency and eases supervisor responsibilities. RUN Powered by ADP® also takes care of our workers comp insurance for seamless payments concurrently with payroll.

Pros

  • Easy to read/interpret reports
  • Reminders and tasks pertaining to certain times of the year
  • Reminders for payroll emailed to ensure timely completion
  • Excellent support via the chat feature

Cons

  • It would be great if employees could view PTO earned and used history
  • PTO tracking saves us a lot of time. We used to keep and update spreadsheets for each employee. That alone saves at least 1 hour per week.
It's saved me and the employees time in regard to PTO tracking. They no longer have to ask me how many hours/days they have available. Win win in this scenario.
The tax deduction and filing is definitely a huge time saver. Plus you are backed by ADP when it comes to the compliance of the forms and timeframes for filing.

Yes

RUN Powered by ADP® is definitely an easy to use option for basic payroll processing. There are many add-ons from ADP or other companies that will integrate with RUN. These add-ons feel hidden though. It took me a long time poking around different areas within RUN to find them. I asked my ADP representative initially and they tried to sell me on the PEO solution, which may be more than necessary for our needs. I was never told about the add-ons that would solve a lot of my problems, saving time and money.
