Overall Satisfaction with Sage 100 Contractor

We used Sage 100 Contractor for all the accounting, invoicing, estimation, reporting. It was ok at first but the more we set it up, the more we started to run into issues.

In the end there are tons of other products that are much better. Time cards don't work, we needed an external software to track this for employees. Estimation is cumbersome, we just used Excel. Payroll was ok, but didn't do employee taxes correctly when they make a certain amount for some reason. Overall, it's a bad product.
Sage 100 Contractor was selected by the business before I started. I got them off of it to Contractor Foreman after reviewing other products.

It's ok if you are a very small business and you are using other software for everything but the accounting side. It doesn't track time well, and the integration for the phone app is complicated to set up and doesn't work well in the end. Estimation side is also lackluster, we ended up just using excel as it was easier. Payroll didn't calculate employee benefits/taxes correctly.
