Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Sage Intacct is being used across the whole organization. It serves as a global accounting solution. We use project accounting. Intacct is helpful in invoicing many different types of billing types; Fixed Fee, Time and Expenses, Recurring transactions such as subscriptions. It allows time entry for the entire company into one system.

Pros

  • Sage Intacct allows custom report writing which allows you to see all of the information that is pertinent to an individual or a team.
  • Sage Intacct partners with numerous companies that provide supporting systems to provide further automation.
  • Sage Intacct provides a great support system to its customers. The Community allows customers to speak with each other about daily frustrations and to find solutions amongst themselves.

Cons

  • Customer report writing can be limiting. It would be beneficial to be able to take a standard report and just apply certain tweaks that would better accommodate your company.
  • At times, open support cases can get hung up in escalation with engineering.

Sage Intacct is well suited for companies that use project based accounting. It provides the numerous invoicing options that are necessary to satisfy customer needs. Sage Intacct has some limitations when it comes to invoicing multi-currency customers. We have experienced issues with invoice templates when invoicing multi-currency customers.
