Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We use Sage Intacct in a multi-entity environment for accounting and consolidated reporting.
Pros
- Intacct lets customers build custom reports that are easy to build and filter by locations and departments.
- Templates allow users to easily and efficiently import large amounts of data.
- The accounts payable application allows users to generate ACH files for electronic payments.
Cons
- There is room for improvement regarding user restrictions around general ledger data. Our former system allowed more restrictions to be placed on specific general ledger accounts that would restrict viewing and posting capabilities for those accounts. Intacct does not have as many restrictions on general ledger posting and viewing by account.
- I wish the font size within the application were larger.
- It would great if financial graphs could be easily created using report data that is generated by computations.
- Sage Intacct has streamlined our reporting process by cutting hours from the time required to produce reports prior to using Intacct.
We have benefited from the automated features in the accounts payable application because we have regular bills that we can set up using the recurring bills feature. It saves time by not having to enter and post them each month.
Sage Intacct’s multi-entity capabilities has allowed us to simplify accounting and reporting processes by having all companies in one accounting system. Our procedures for accounts payable are now the same across each company.
