Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Intacct is used daily as our accounting software. It is mainly used by the Finance department, but also has applications with Purchasing and Inventory departments. Helps maintain continuity between department executives.
Pros
- Integration of multiple accounting systems allows user-friendly interaction. Bill.com/Tallie.
- Above average customer support. Cases are generally addressed very quickly.
- Compared to older accounting software, Intacct report building and reporting is a very good feature.
Cons
- Allow for non-admin users to have more layout customization options.
- Introduce a support chat option. Although cases are usually addressed quickly, it would be great to have an additional layer of support in terms of a chat. If there is a fire that needs to be put out, sometimes it is hard to get immediate support.
- Allow CDJ & APJ to be editable if period is open.
- Intacct has saved numerous work hours because of reporting functionality.
- Allows for easy interdepartmental continuity
- Helps define business goals and review poor expenditures
The integration of Tallie and Bill.com makes accounts payable and expense management much easier to complete EOM assignments. Do not have to worry about importing/exporting of large AP files. General Ledger is easy to navigate and use. Company has certainly benefited because of the automation.
Used a much older version of Sage. I believe it was Sage 300, but am not positive. F9 was literally my most hated system used.
