Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is used by our accounting, purchasing, billing and payroll department. By using Sage, our company is able to interact across divisions effortlessly and without issue.

Pros and Cons

Billing. Sage Intacct allows us to cost projects and get accurate bills to our customers
Dashboard. Allows to to see a snapshot of where we are and how we are doing
Helps us to consolidate our financials from our several business entities

Account reconciliations could be handled differently
Time tracking for employees

Return on Investment

Dashboards are great
Great budgeting tool
Allows our AR department to get bills out to customers quicker

Our organization has benefited from the automation of core functions. The automation allows our people to focus on other areas of the business (collection, customer service, etc) as they spend less time on the billing, GL, reconciliation parts of their duties

Sage Intacct Extensibility

We have not used these though we plan on in the future

Sage Intacct Configuration

We mostly did it on our own with some assistance from Sage. It was a pretty simple process from start to finish

Likelihood to Recommend

I find that Sage Intacct is well suited to financial reporting. It allows me to produce reports that I can present to the non-accounting managers.
Sage Intacct is not well suited to employee time collection. We use a separate system to collect employee time and then manually input it into Sage Intacct
