Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We converted from a very old, outdated system to Sage Intacct three years ago. It checks a lot of boxes for us: it is an enterprise-wide system; it is cloud-based; it allows our department managers to participate in budget review and analysis; it has excellent reporting and real-time dashboard capabilities. We have worked with Sage Intacct and its industry partner Workforce Go to automate our payroll and HR management systems with great success.
Pros

Cons
- Purchasing module did not allow allocations - this was hard for us but I think they updated it since we started.
- Uploading data can be tricky at times especially if there are allocations.
- The budgeting module could be improved - it's very basic.
- We were able to go completely paperless.
- It is very scalable - we have grown over 30% in the past three years.
- It has allowed us to provide real time, transparent reporting for staff and board.
The automation has improved the speed and quality of our monthly close. We were able to drop two weeks from the close process and produce accurate and timely financial reports for staff and board of directors.
We have been able to integrate payroll, fixed asset management, fundraising and grant management reporting into our system. We have had great success working with Sage Intacct partners.
