Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use it for all of our accounting needs. AP, AR, purchasing and GL. Including financial reports for our board of directors.

Pros

  • Ease of GL entries.
  • Cloud product.
  • Help.
  • Adding notes to pages.

Cons

  • Check writing.
  • GL posting history and user details.
  • Purchase orders.
  • Report printing.
  • Cash receipts.
  • Aging reports.
  • Vendor payment reports and screens.
  • Customer payment reports and screens.
  • It has made our processes longer.
  • Have had to come up with a work around to achieve good information.
  • Made working from home easier.
We have only utilized automation in GL. It has given us a little time back to process other stuff.
It was a little confusing to work through until it was done and I could test in the program.

Many lacking features comparing to older Sage products. We were told we were on an antiquated system and upgrading would be an improvement. When implementation was done, it felt like taking a step backwards. Support has been great but they have been stumped by lack of features that seem to be something that would be a normal process.
