Overall Satisfaction with Salesforce Sales Cloud

We currently use Salesforce Sales Cloud as our CRM for the sales team. In the platform, we create leads, accounts, contacts, and opportunities. This is our source of truth for anything regarding the sales process (new business, renewals, upgrades and xsells). This allows the GTM team to keep everything organized for easy reference.

Pros

  • Account organization
  • Task management
  • Collaboration

Cons

  • User interface
  • Load time
  • Plug-in management
  • Higher sales revenue
  • Improved productivity
  • Better forecasting management
Salesforce Sales Cloud helps with sales productivity by providing a platform that allows users to easily understand their pipeline and customers. You can get an eagle-eye view of everything and get more granular by looking at a single account. The product is easy to scale, however you will need someone dedicated to Salesforce Sales Cloud to help with requests, as the tool does need to be more hands on for adding new features and rolling out new processes.
The other tools that I have previously used such as Hubspot, Mailchimp (for email list management) and Insightly do not stack up to Salesforce Sales Cloud, as Salesforce Sales Cloud is highly focused on streamlining pipeline and customer management. The other tools are a good starting point, but most organizations will switch to Salesforce Sales Cloud when they are big enough.

Do you think Salesforce Sales Cloud delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Salesforce Sales Cloud's feature set?

Yes

Did Salesforce Sales Cloud live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Salesforce Sales Cloud go as expected?

No

Would you buy Salesforce Sales Cloud again?

Yes

When looking to build pipeline, you need a source of truth to keep all the information together. Salesforce Sales Cloud allows you to create an in depth view on a specific organization by saving contacts, showing opportunities, assets and tasks for each account. If utilizing Chatter, you can @ mention employees for certain tasks or follow-ups. When a customer is created, Salesforce Sales Cloud can also keep track of renewal dates.
