Overall Satisfaction with Salesforce Sales Cloud

We use Salesforce as our primary CRM, and that manages our leads, manages our accounts and contacts. So all of the customers that we do business with, our salespeople create opportunities to be able to manage the sales process. And then we use it for other functions. We use it for delivering our product and managing the service delivery of our own product and the cybersecurity services. And we use it also for other, we use it for marketing as well. So we do pull some marketing information in and use that in terms of reaching out to customers.

Pros

  • It's great for the opportunity function, managing your sales process, keeping track of your accounts and contacts, keeping track of your leads, and then being able to integrate that with other platforms for automation, it's great for that.
  • Reporting is pretty decent too.

Cons

  • Sometimes Salesforce tries to do too many things, but I mean, overall I'm happy with the product and we're going to keep using it.
  • When it comes to our overall bottom line driving revenue, it's had a tremendous impact on the business. And with our company in particular, and having implemented it about five or six years ago, it is really helped to be able to create an integration with our sales process and then ensure that our salespeople are being as efficient and effective as possible. So it is really helped to drive revenue.
Especially since they made the switch to the Lightning UI. So it's got a really nice UI. It's very intuitive to use and easy for implementation.

It's great for managing sales, sales process, I think in terms of any other CRMs that are out there, the flexibility is great and there's a tremendous amount of things that you can do to help maximize your sales team's success.
