SAP Analytics Cloud is used by various departments in our organization such as Finance, Payroll, and Accounts for [the] generation of various types of reports according to the needs of the particular department/user basis the inputs provided or real-time reading of data from our ERP. For example, [the] Accounts department can generate the reports such as Aging chart for Accounts payable/ Receivable [with] just a click, HR department can generate the report for Employee Attrition/Employee turnover. The main business problem that is addressed is [the] presentation of data in the format required and the user-friendly interface of SAP Analytics Cloud as compared to other software. The report to be generated by various departments can be customized easily which makes it very understandable. For example, data can be converted into graphs, tables, or any other format required. Further, the main advantage of the software is that it does not require an employee from [an] IT background to use the software, even a layman can use the software with [a] basic understanding of data. In fact, the user can easily become used to [it] after a few days of using the software.

Pros and Cons

Synchronization of data across [the] entire ERP system on a real-time basis in a single software. Additionally, if any additional data is to be processed that can also be imported into the software
Preparation of business reports which are very understandable and can be in the form of tables, graphs, or statistics which are very attractive and very helpful for decision-makers in the organization
Further, SAP Analytics Cloud is not a very costly software as compared to other single-use-based software. This software provides a wide range of features in a single software which becomes very feasible for the organization.

Sometimes the uploading of data requires a lot of time and [a] very fast internet connection which results in failure of data uploading.
Little guidance in the form of reference/hints regarding what type of data to be uploaded should be provided on various sections of the software to make it more user-friendly for [the] layman.
Data Modeling needs to be polished a little more. Data models often require complete reworking for minor changes such as changes in [the] format required.

The decision-makers can take decision basis the future budgets and forecasting reports and analyze the profitable and less profitable section in the organization on [a] weekly/monthly basis and take appropriate decisions
A single software is used instead of multiple software's to analyze budgets, forecasts, and prepare reports which [are] cost-effective and feasible which has reduced [the] company's expenses to some extent
Results in time-saving as forecasting can be done in a single software instead of reading about market indicators and then predicting the future.

1. The Smart insight and predictive analysis of SAP Analytics cloud is better as compared to Oracle Analytics Cloud
2. Both the software are very user friendly and can be easily customized but the user interface of SAP Analytics cloud is better for developing reports out of models
3. SAP Analytics cloud has more rich features than Oracle Analytics Cloud. Additionally SAP analytics cloud is cheaper

Additionally, considering it a single software for multiple smart features such as AI algorithms, Generation of customized reports, and third-party integration it can be considered as one of the best BI software in the market available at a feasible value.

1. SAP Analytics cloud is best suited for organization with heavy to medium range of data as this software works best if appropriate data is provided. However, for small organizations this software is not suited as there you can do the manually.
2. For any organization which has to provide data to client in an attractive formats, this software is well suited as the data reports can be customized in any form required and the data visualization is very impressive
3. For any organization involved in Business forecasting and statistics this software is very useful
