Use Cases and Deployment Scope

SAP Analytics Cloud has enabled us at Sprouts Farmers Market to enhance performance management capabilities by incorporating robust BI, augmented analytics, predictive analytics, and enterprise planning tools in our processes. Currently, it’s being used across all departments in our organization.

Pros and Cons

Enterprise planning capabilities available on SAP Analytics Cloud make it easy to connect transactions in our daily insights and easily accessible on the dashboard.
With SAP Analytics Cloud, it has been effective to collect disjointed data from multiple repositories, which we connect in one cloud tool to ease analysis.
SAP Analytics Cloud has reduced data scientists' intervention by allocating self-service data analysis to our team.

Unfortunately, SAP Analytics Cloud does not offer on-premises applications for both Desktop and mobile phones.

Return on Investment

We have been able to empower our team with all cloud analytics capabilities that enable them to analyze data without incurring extra costs for hiring data scientists.
We have been able to make future cost planning such as loan borrowing by incorporating financial planning tools.
Additionally, data consolidation in one platform is cost-effective compared to holding data in multiple clouds and on-premises applications.

Alternatives Considered

Board

Both Board and SAP Analytics Cloud are robust tools for corporate planning. However, Board fails to offer high security and it has not been iso certified for long making it prone to cyberattacker catastrophe.

Usability

For all the tools that I have used, SAP is one of the trusted corporations offering easy-to-use platforms. The most interesting thing is that the vendor attack whitepapers to every feature to guide clients on customization.

Support Rating

SAP Analytics Cloud offers free customer service through phone calls, email chats, and live chats for registered clients. I also use SAP community channels where I interact with other SAP parts and vendor representatives.

Likelihood to Recommend

I am pretty sure almost all employees in our organization uses SAP Analytics Cloud to automate multiple procedures. However, for those who aren’t familiar with it and prospects, I would recommend them to incorporate SAP Analytics Cloud in their systems and it will be effective to analyze data on their own to make rapid informed decisions.
