Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

We use SAP Analytics Cloud to do dashboards from S4 or Datasphere and to use the SAP Analytics Cloud Add-in for Sales, finances, procurement and manufacturing productivity.

Pros

  • Connecting to Datasphere live
  • Ease of development dashboards
  • Managing security

Cons

  • Integrating the fiscal calendar from S4 tables
  • Sorting dimensions if also sorting measures
  • Time series with fiscal calendar
  • Offset in time series when data is loaded as of yesterday.
  • Single source of truth
  • Speed of delivery
  • Opportunity to analyse further from a dashboard
There is a learning curve and things are sometimes changing (classic va new stories) but overall it brings improvement.
