Overall Satisfaction with SAP Ariba Procurement
Ariba is being implemented in the whole organization for the past years, and will take at least a couple more years until the implementation is done. We're using almost all modules of Ariba, as the main goal is to increase digitalization in Procurement and integrate with SAP (and SAP4HANA in the future) as much as possible.
- Integration with SAP for RfX and updates of Info Record prices (Product Sourcing).
- Integration of catalogues (Buying) and contract terms (Sourcing & Contracts) to facilitate the end user experience.
- Flexibility to adjust tasks in Sourcing & Contracts projects.
- Integration with DocuSign for digital signatures.
- Better integration across modules: risk module is not useful because it's not integrated with SLP.
- Supplier Performance Evaluation features need better automation for larger organizations.
- Sourcing & Contracting module needs update so it becomes as user friendly as Buying.
- Positive impact on contract compliance and traceability.
- Positive impact on promoting different negotiation levers with the Sourcing module.
- Positive impact with automation of Infor Records (Product Sourcing).
- Negative impact on trainings and user experience: tool is not user friendly enough, so we spend a lot of internal resources with trainings and clarification meetings.
BravoAdvantage is much easier to manage when it comes to user licenses, and therefore cheaper. The user interface is also better.
However Ariba is better integrated with SAP.
