Overall Satisfaction with SAP Ariba Procurement

SAP Ariba is used all across the entire organization to help make procurement more unified and condensed. Before, procurement of supplies or materials could be made with several vendors for different prices and now we can get the best price for the entire organization and use the same vendor which saves money and time and research.

  • Vendor prices have already been negotiated.
  • Cost savings throughout the entire organization.
We also use Coupa which does the same work as Ariba but for different company purchases. Another product is SAP Concur which is used to track employee expenses via their expense reports which includes all receipts and descriptions of expenses for their company cards or their personal expenses approved by their supervisors.
I feel that SAP Ariba Procurement's overall usability has proven to be very user friendly. We have been able to train and convert all employees into using the SAP Ariba Procurement system in a minimal amount of time and have found that it was accepted with open arms and has already proven to be a cost cutter.
As with any new software or product, support is important. As we are a very large company, our IT Department is always busy so it is important to have direct support from the SAP Ariba team. It is good to have a customer support representative that follows us through the entire process and beyond.

SAP Ariba Procurement comes in handy when ordering office supplies, especially during this pandemic, for everyone working from home. The only problem we faced was all the different delivery addresses. We resolved that by allowing all users to order there own supplies via the SAP Ariba tool which keeps orders unified and consistent.
