OCR with SAP Build

scanning of pdf files which contains purchase order information which needs to be submitted to sap s/4hana as sales order requests. SAP Build is taking care of getting the pdf files out of emails, collecting them and doing the Optical Character Recognition. The text from the pdf files is extracted automatically.

Yes, we have integrated it with SAP S/4HANA on premise. We even used a standard Fiori app. Integration works well following SAP's integration guidelines, content and technology. Recommended approach is to use OData services for the connectivity with SAP S/4HANA. We have connected it to Microsoft Outlook using RPA. We have not integrated it with other solutions.

We built a workflow in few days. The design time environment is easy to use and the available tutorials are easy to follow step-by-step. We combined workflow with Robotic Process Automation and it was easy to do. Building such workflow without SAP Build would have taken us multiple weeks, but thanks to SAP Build Process Automation, we could complete it just in few days.
