Overall Satisfaction with SAP Concur

We use Concur for travel booking, expense, and invoice verification and posting. Concur solved our problem of having multiple different software that managed all of these on different platforms and allowed us to combine into a single platform. This also allowed us to have the ability to drill back from the general ledger to view invoices without having to copy and go look up the invoice in a different system.

Pros

  • Robust reporting from both the invoice and expense side that we did not have with prior software

  • Greater speed in employee reimbursement

Approval workflow and expense reporting for month end far exceeded what we were getting from Apptricity. The ability to be flexible in customizing Concur to our business was also a lot easier to build out.
We SAP ECC with Concur and have both the T&E and Invoice modules posting to our ERP system.
Yes it have. The ability to have Concur change to our organization changes for approvals and workflows have helped greatly by cutting down the workload in managing this.
This feature we've used for a many years and love it. It allows employees to easily book and capture travel expenses while also allowing the company to monitor and audit those bookings to our travel policy. Concur has greatly exceeded this.

The ability to pull an expense accrual for month end for our T&E reporting has made the end of month process reporting on this extremely easier than what we were doing prior pulling manual data from SAP.

SAP Concur Attributes

For the most part the UI is user friendly but there are some areas that could be cleaned up and made more user friendly.
  • T&E Accrual reporting
  • Invoice retrieval
  • Ability to capture invoices easily
  • Searching for a invoice and then going back to a new search is somewhat difficult.
Ability for our AP and Operation Finance teams to access the same invoices quickly if needed from one platform.
We currently do not use the software in this manner so not able to give a full review on it.
Was not heavily involved in the actual integration project but from the reveiws of co workers this seemed to have gone very smoothly.
