Use Cases and Deployment Scope

This tool is helpful in accessing data from the databases
and also beneficial in data management as well as the processing of the data.
It has swift database backup and has modified our company’s way of database
management. Moreover, the interface of this tool is another positive thing
related to this tool. Maintenance work is also easily manageable.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Its data storage is great as it is capable of keeping the bulk of data.
We can get access in real-time from multiple databases.
The reports are customizable and reports are much beneficial.
It is a secure and reliable tool.
Highly scalable.

Cons

It is not a much easy tool to implement. IT guy is mandatory for the implementation of this tool.
Financial transaction management didn’t work well for us. Maybe it was some fault on our side.
Multiple PCs cannot operate with one single individual user.

Return on Investment

We can maintain and get access to a diverse range of data.
Customizable reports are the most beneficial feature for us.
Since its financial transactional management didn’t work well for us so we have to face minor losses in this regard.

Alternatives Considered

IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator

IBM has been a credible name for us as we have implemented
some of the IBM tools and are going great but when it comes to IBM DB2 it was
our not-so-good experience. We planned to save our time and cost with IBM DB2
but the situation was on the contrary. but the implementation of it was less
complicated than SAP HANA. But apart from some major flaws, SAP HANA is giving
us the best experience.

Support Rating

SAP HANA is a data management tool that has helped us a lot in getting access to the databases and its massive storage capacity has been very beneficial. Overall the supported SAP HANA has provided is worth appreciating along with its customizable reports we can bring progress. Another thing is that we can trust it as it is reliable and secure.

Database management
tools are unlimited in the market but there are very few that are consistent
and have the propensity to store large data and to provide real-time access for
multiple databases. There are multiple legitimate reasons for which we chose
this tool and it is going great with us. Although its implementation and
transaction management are two things that have made things a bit hard for us.
