We use the SAP HANA Cloud database as persistence layer and cache of data from back end application, which allows us to expose applications and analytics.
Pros
- Tight integration with Cloud Application Programming Language
Cons
- User administration for operators with minimal experience in traditional database access management
- It is expensive if you just want to use it for persistence of data
We have begun to explore real-time analytics.
Very important to support modern mediums of storage.
We do not use it but want to explore more.
Better tools and more integrated to BTP solutions.
