Overall Satisfaction with SAP Lumira

We were evaluating the software but in the end we had to stay with a Microsoft solution. Having said that, SAP Lumira is a very easy to use and modern BI-tool, with great looking graphs and a powerful data Engine. The maps were especially impressive with a lot more layers of complexity and flexibility than I have experienced in similar Products.

Pros

  • Their Map capability and flexibility
  • The powerful engine
  • Ease-of-use

Cons

  • Not often an aligned Company strategy to go with SAP (at least not in Sweden)
  • The UI is not standard in the business, but fairly easy to learn anyway
Qlik is faster with large data but having said that, SAP is still impressive
Great for exploration, less so for standard reporting
