Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors

I use Sap SuccessFactors in a variety of ways from accessing online corporate learnings to applying for new positions and managing my professional development within the company. The business problems addressed are maintaining corporate learning records. As an employee, we have lots of trainings related to safety expectations, OSHA requirements, and learning needs for various roles in the company. SuccessFactors is the one stop shop to access online corporate classes and annual safety/ compliance training. SuccessFactors is also used to manage performance and serve as a performance management system. A user can apply for open internal positions, fill out performance reviews and developments plans all in the same platform. The suite is customizable for various roles and needs.

  • Keeping everything from learning to development planning in one application
  • Easy to understand and reminders are auto sent for sensitive tasks
  • The search functions in MylearningLAB are at times difficult to navigate
  • Pop ups can be annoying. I wish there was a way to turn them off.
  • I would like to see more customization on the user level that one can do. Like moving apps around on the home screen.
  • This has simplified the performance development annual/ semi annual reviews. It was always a pain to utilize the old clunky system
  • It is great to be able to quickly navigate to my pay and work history in one platform instead of on sharepoint sites of old company databases
  • It is great to track and see my supervisor comments on my development plan in real time.
If you are a SAP user then this product will integrate very well into the existing SAP ecosystem. SAP has done a much better job providing new products that are much more user friendly and not so "SAP" like. The interface is easy to follow with app "tabs" to quickly navigate to various things such as learning, performance management, leave detail.
It is great to have the mylearninglab feature as it makes accessing and completing annual safety and compliance training a breeze. The system links to my email and reminds me when a learning is due, and will update my supervisor on my progress. The learnings are easy to follow and customizable for my employer to tailor specific learnings to my job.

Sap Success Factors is well suited for a large corporation who wants to have a uniform performance management system for the entire company. It is very good at organizing and placing all items from learning, HR, performance development, personal information, all in one easy to use location. This greatly reduces employees needs to utilize multiple platforms to perform basic tasks like accessing trainings, updating emergency contacts, or having multiple systems for annual development planning.
