We
are using SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central module at The Bank of London.
Main use cases are time off and absence management and workflows, displaying
employee Human Resource-related details, such as employee address,
communication and compensation details, displaying organizational chart,
company directory and additional company information within the bank and as a
central employee-oriented tool with related dashboards.

- Improved employee experience - be able to see all employee information in one place and self-manage basic functions, such as time management
- Automation of tasks - such as time off approval workflow, integrated with Microsoft Outlook
- Increased HR productivity, with a number of mundane tasks and metrics available within the platform
SAP SuccessFactors, deployed and localized within the cloud platform hosted on Microsoft Azure cloud, standardized a lot of our Human Resource processes, such as time management and approval, organisational and employee-specific data dashboards, such as showing compensation information and organisational hierarchy, with ability to drill down from top down or bottom up.
I envision AI capabilities to assist with enhancing all employee central processes, for example to enable a comprehensive site-wide search, for example on "how to" items -how do I input time off, how to find the organisational chart, how to see my compensation or personal information, how to do time-approval, etc.
SAP SuccessFactors is a very user-friendly application, it stacks up very well against competition, such as Oracle PeopleSoft HCM. We selected SAP SuccessFactors because we are already using a lot of other SAP solutions, such as SAP S/4 HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform. It allows us to have single-sign on and one vendor with multiple solutions.
