Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors

We
are using SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central module at The Bank of London.
Main use cases are time off and absence management and workflows, displaying
employee Human Resource-related details, such as employee address,
communication and compensation details, displaying organizational chart,
company directory and additional company information within the bank and as a
central employee-oriented tool with related dashboards.

Pros

  • Visualizing organisational structure in terms of hierarchy
  • User-friendly dashboards across different employee and company-related tiles
  • Workflow functionality, for example for time off approval, integrated with Outlook email

Cons

  • Integration with new AI-assistant (co-pilot)
  • Ability to import employee files, such as goals and targets
  • Integration with other systems, such as Payroll
  • Improved employee experience - be able to see all employee information in one place and self-manage basic functions, such as time management
  • Automation of tasks - such as time off approval workflow, integrated with Microsoft Outlook
  • Increased HR productivity, with a number of mundane tasks and metrics available within the platform
SAP SuccessFactors is very user friendly, starting with Single Sign-on integration, then right away showing various tiles, such as organizational chart, time-off management, notifications of any review tasks, such as time-approval for team members. It has good navigation functions and language is very intuitive, so easy to understand for business users, no need to be too tech savvy.
SAP SuccessFactors, deployed and localized within the cloud platform hosted on Microsoft Azure cloud, standardized a lot of our Human Resource processes, such as time management and approval, organisational and employee-specific data dashboards, such as showing compensation information and organisational hierarchy, with ability to drill down from top down or bottom up.
I envision AI capabilities to assist with enhancing all employee central processes, for example to enable a comprehensive site-wide search, for example on "how to" items -how do I input time off, how to find the organisational chart, how to see my compensation or personal information, how to do time-approval, etc.
SAP SuccessFactors is a very user-friendly application, it stacks up very well against competition, such as Oracle PeopleSoft HCM. We selected SAP SuccessFactors because we are already using a lot of other SAP solutions, such as SAP S/4 HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform. It allows us to have single-sign on and one vendor with multiple solutions.

SAP SuccessFactors is well suited for what we are using it at The Bank of London - Employee Central functions, ranging from showing employee organisational structure, to showing company supporting data, to time management and approval workflows, integrated with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Active Directory to enable Single Sign-on of the application.
