Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors HCM

Simplifying the digital tech stack across HR and holding all colleague data and intelligence on one platform for the entire colleague life cycle.

Pros

  • Employee demographic information
  • The feedback tool is simple and effective to use
  • the home page is easy to navigate

Cons

  • Talent and succession calibration functionality (assuming not a premium customer) is quite basic and clunky
  • Reporting can be really slow when you are an enterprise the size of BT Group
  • Alerts could be much more personalised and improved.

I don't think it's intuitive for end users, i.e., colleagues and line managers as the language on the fields is not human centered or particularly easy to understand. I don't think this is helped by HR teams sometimes using these tools to suit their needs vs those of their users/customers.
Yes, HR/Time/Payroll has moved and I know it has driven huge efficiency and productivity in our HR organisation.
AI chatbots will simplify our organisational structures and remove need for Tier 1 support. Free up capacity for greater value add activity for all HR professionals.

Definitely enterprise level when you hit a certain maturity of the organisation and need to simplify your technology stack. Not suitable for organisations under 500 users where I think HRIS/ATS like BambooHR, Hi Bob etc are better suited.
