Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors HCM
Starting my SAP journey with SuccessFactors has been an incredibly rewarding experience. After obtaining certifications in Learning Management System (LMS), Performance and Goals (PMGM), and Compensation (COMP) and multiple SF Accredidations, I felt well-equipped to dive into the world of SAP—and SuccessFactors proved to be the perfect launchpad. The platform's intuitive design and robust functionality made it easy to apply what I had learned during my certification process. Whether managing learning paths, aligning performance goals, or structuring compensation plans, the system offers powerful tools that are both user-friendly and deeply customizable. SuccessFactors has been instrumental in helping me grow professionally and establish a strong foundation within SAP. I’m excited to continue building on this experience and exploring new modules and opportunities within the SAP ecosystem that peaks my interest and love for knowledge.

- Helps align individual goals with organizational objectives, promoting transparency and accountability.
- Streamlines merit increases, bonuses, and equity awards with configurable rules and budget controls.
Cons
- While SuccessFactors offers many built-in reports, customizing them to meet specific business needs often requires advanced skills or external tools.
- Generating reports with extensive data can be slow or even time out, especially in Employee Central.
- HR productivity between functional, technical and HR Business Partners.
- Improved HR Flexibility with different cross area functions to have a better understanding of SAP SF Modules
We have not done this yet for our business.
When we are able to incorporate AI - hopefully via our performance, learning and succession modules. However, I do know co-workers who would like it for RCM.
Our business has always been a SAP one-stop shop since we implemented SuccessFactors in 2016.
