Overall Satisfaction with Sauce Labs

We use Sauce Labs currently to manually test our applications in older browsers, namely IE 10 and 11. Since our applications must support these browsers, this is invaluable to our QA process. In the past, we have also used it for running automated Selenium tests.
  • SauceConnect is a great tool for testing your local instance for quick results.
  • UI is simple and easy to understand.
  • Team management tools are good for department leaders.
  • I think there could be better documentation (i.e. examples) for implementing automated tests.
  • It's helped us maintain quality while moving into a full scrum process.
  • It's helped us ship to hospitals and EHRs with confidence.
Sauce Labs is well-suited for teams with dedicated QA testers and automation engineers. While other teams can use the manual testing, to get the full experience out of it, you'll really need some dedicated resources. With that said, I have pushed for Sauce Labs at every company I've been at for the last 4 years and will continue to do so! It's a great product.
