Overall Satisfaction with Scale Computing HC3

We don't have an HC3 implementation in-house but we sell, manage, and support it for our customers. Our implementations have been organization-wide and address the issue of needing a highly available virtual infrastructure.

Pros

  • Cost - very competitive on cost vs. the competition
  • Pre-sales support - very thorough in understanding the environment and providing assistance in right-sizing the solution
  • Post - sales support - very responsive with any issues

Cons

  • Migrating existing virtual workloads into the cluster could be easier. Relies on third-party software to work.
Support has always been very responsive and knowledgeable. Like the fact that the support is local to us as well.
Features and performance for the price is hard to beat.
HC3 is well suited for small business clients needing advanced virtual infrastructure pieces but not looking to incur a large CAPEX. It may be less appropriate at the enterprise level.
