Overall Satisfaction with Schoology
Schoology is our current Learning Management System (LMS) for the entire school district. We utilize it to deliver course content and announcements to our staff and students.
- Organizing coursework in folders keeps my students focused
- Giving assessments on Schoology saves grading time and allows students to receive feedback in a timely manner
- It is difficult to get features modified by user suggestion
- Mobile app does not have all the features as using Schoology on a computer does
- Schoology gives us a one stop shop for assigning digital coursework in our 1:1 environment.
- Edmodo, Canvas and Brightspace
I have used or experimented with a few different Learning Management Systems while teaching or taking classes. In my opinion, Schoology has been the most user friendly when it comes to creating and submitting assignments. Schoology is the only LMS that I have used in both a teacher and student role. From the student side of things I was able to navigate through Schoology easier than the other LMS options that I have used in coursework.
