Overall Satisfaction with SciQuest
SciQuest is currently being used by our procurement services department here at our university. Although not all of our vendors are currently linked as Sciquest vendors, we continually add these as we are able. SciQuest currently allows our procurement users to choose from select vendors, items in which they may create requisitions in our PeopleSoft product.
- Manages one's vendor catalogs.
- Integrates with third party systems in an attempt to accommodate one's chosen business process.
- Offers an up to date interface.
- More accomodating integration which would allow customers to maintain current business processes.
- Customers seem to be fine with selecting requisition items and having them pushed back via carts to a legacy system.
- Converting one's legacy ERP system to a SaaS solution may prove to be too much of an overhaul in regards to converting to a new set of rules which do not fit exactly with current business processes. The inability to enhance in great detail is also a drawback for customers coming from a highly modifiable system.
