Overall Satisfaction with SeekOut
SeekOut is used for sourcing talent and as a resource for us in Talent Acquisition. Similar to other search tools I have used in the past, SeekOut allows you to filter out a lot of candidates based on specific criteria such as location, employers, previous experience, etc., but where I have seen the most use is targeting specific markets when trying to increase representation from a diversity standpoint. Unlike other platforms, SeekOut is much more detailed and allows you to filter out folks who might not be the type of candidate you are looking for if you are trying to recruit diverse folks in a specific market.
Pros
- Candidate Search - allows you to access many many candidates, even beyond the traditional social channels like LinkedIn
- Ability to filter by Diversity - helps support corporate D&I recruiting strategy
- Ability to get a candidates resume or contact information directly
Cons
- Easier integration with Taleo or other Applicant Tracking Systems
- More contacts a month
- Trainings on other/advanced functionality of SeekOut
- Reduced time to hire
- Improved recruiter experience
- Increase D&I representation
