  • Easy to use.
  • Helpful community and content.
  • Not able to compare your site, in depth nor breath to many competitors.
  • Rank reporting is still focused on position rather than delta. With personalization and localization of search, how a site ranks is irrelevant. The changes and volume of business to a site should be foremost.
  • Not as intuitively organized as competitors.
  • Too great an expense for search intelligence available through competitors.
Search tools are constantly playing catch up; with one another and with Google. While today, I prefer a competitor to SEOmoz, Raven, that may well change tomorrow.
Shop around and focus on price, depth of features, and quantity of keywords tracked. Fully appreciate what SEO means today, content and keyword rank are increasingly irrelevant to optimization and social validation, technical architecture, and site performance are weighted more heavily. Is SEOmoz providing that insight or the SEO basics that you might still think matter?
